En fin, cada uno tiene su área de interés, y realizar un acercamiento sin haber indagado en las áreas de interés del inversionista, no es una buena idea.
- Pídele ayuda a tu abogado: algunos abogados trabajan en firmas que le brindan servicios a empresas que gestionan activos. Esta es una de las ventajas que tiene el trabajar con firmas reconocidas, ya que sus redes de contactos podrían servirte de muchas maneras. Si este es tu caso, pídele a tu abogado que te introduzca los que manejan estas firmas, para ampliar tus posibilidades de financiamiento.
- Consigue una introducción por un profesor de ingeniería: si estás en el área tecnológica y eres ingeniero, una recomendación por parte de uno de tus profesores validaría tu talento, y podría ayudarte a conseguir ese financiamiento que necesitas.
- Consigue una introducción por un fundador de una compañía ya existente en el portafolio de tu potencial inversionista: si el inversionista que tienes en la mirilla tiene un portafolio de inversiones en otras empresas, identifica quienes son los dueños, acércate a ellos, y consigue que te introduzcan de forma directa al inversionista. Si ya conoces a alguien que pueda referirte, mejor todavía.
En fin, la realidad es la siguiente: los inversionistas no saldrán a buscarte. Todo lo contrario. Tú, como emprendedor, tienes que ingeniártela para llegar a ellos, y si logras una introducción cálida de otros que ya se han ganado su confianza, mejores chances tendrás de conseguir lo que quieres.
